Darcy Rose Cousins is a talented Doncasterian and only twelve years old . Darcy has being dreaming of singing and performing all her life and her dream of performing in front of audiences is finally happening.
Darcy has been writing songs for around two years and has recently completed two albums along with 16 singles. The support from Darcy local school has resulted in an invitation to perform for the prestigious BBC Introducing stage on radio . Darcy has said that singing on the BBC will be very scary for her because of her anxiety but she will fight it and put on the best performance that she has ever done.
Darcy also plays the piano, ukulele, bass and a little bit of guitar. Darcy acknowledges the tremendous support from her family, friends, schools and even perfect strangers in creating the right conditions for Darcy to chase down her dreams.
