Brad is a statistician and data analyst with a particular interest in the ethics of how we use data. He has experienced how data is used in a variety of contexts, having previously worked as an analyst at Doncaster Children’s Trust, HSBC, and a range of additional organisations. He has recently completed a dissertation discussing whether bias exists in the criminal justice system and is keen to share some of the most interesting findings. Through his research, Brad discovered many examples where the usage of data was ethically questionable, he wants to highlight how often data is misused and how we should think more critically instead of blindly accepting information as fact.
